Wanted to highlight some nice improvements in movement quality from Michael Hilker Jr. so far this fall. Narrow ISA RHP, who’s lateralized/pulled down on the right with ER’d hip sockets. Initial strategy was to side bend/hang back to superimpose IR to try and produce a down force.

This caused him to get stuck in his loading phase and struggle with transferring his COM forward. You can see how his Z curve (green line) plateaus at its peak and Y curve (red line) has a slow build to its peak with an inability to produce much raw force in both directions.

With Michael, the goal was to utilize constraints in both movement prep/plyos that would enable him to find an effective leg lift strategy to aid in improving momentum creation and ultimately the ability to produce a more efficient downforce. ⬇️⬇️
