this may sound nuts, but i think the JUROR NO 2 debacle broke me. a guy like Clint is the model for a studio. an icon who brought in billions and awards. never went over. always spent less than he made. and no loyalty in the end. says a lot about our world. all work, no value.

This month I've watched a bunch of films that somehow slipped through the cracks for me. Can't believe I hadn't seen these: OLDBOY, THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR, ROLLING THUNDER, DEATH WISH, and the one that I enjoyed the most: THE CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS MOVIE.

Apparently my new year's resolution was to finally watch all of the films I've been meaning to see my whole life but somehow never got around to, but my god: THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR. Even better on the 2nd watch.

M3GAN 2.0 is pure fun. RT audience score, CinemaScore, and test screenings all beat the first one. Some articles say it was 'too original'-- fuuuuck that. If you love Gerard's voice as a filmmaker, you gotta see what he pulled off.
