New set of #MassSpecCodingClub modules posted: github.com/michaelmarty/M… Free videos to learn coding for MS applications. Take a look and let me know via the discussion what ideas you have for future projects.

Latest paper from the Marty Lab. Short summary: SARS-CoV-2 E protein forms a dimer, HIV Vpu forms a range of variable oligomers, Polio VP4 never oligomerized in our hands. Congrats to the Julia and the rest of the team! pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…

Try out the latest version of UniDec, a beta of 7.0.0: github.com/michaelmarty/U… The most substantial new feature is a time-resolved UCD for CD-MS data. It's loaded with features for doing some cool multiplexed analysis (more at #ASMS2024). Lots of other useful fixes too

New preprint from James "Skippy" Sanders using multiplexed Hadamard transforms injections to interface SEC with CD-MS! He'll be talking more about it at #ASMS2024 (ThOE) and our undergrad, October, will be talking about masked multiplexing with HT-SEC-CD-MS on MOE: doi.org/10.26434/chemr…

Finally excited to share our recent paper in ACS Analytical Chemistry Journals using mutant cycles and native MS to study lipid binding: pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10… Congrats to Hiruni, Farhana, and Megan on their hard work! Looking forward to seeing what's coming next!

New preprint from the group describing our new UniChromCD software for time-domain CD-MS analysis and demultiplexing: chemrxiv.org/engage/chemrxi… Congrats to James "Skippy" Sanders and the rest of the team! Also, the next version of UniDec is ready for testing: github.com/michaelmarty/U…

If you are excited to learn more about using UniChromCD, Brian created a video to show you how to use it with the embedded example data: youtu.be/exrAdR-0iHs

What's the best way to find the email of people in industry? I'd like to suggest industry people as reviewers. I'm just personal messaging them on LinkedIn right now, but I wish there were a better way. It looks like the Am Soc for Mass Spec find-a-member has been shut down

Anyone doing top-down proteomics have a manually annotated spectrum (or spectra) they could share? The more complex the better. Testing some charge state assignment tools for isotope clusters. Consortium for Top-Down Proteomics

Newest version of UniDec ready to go: github.com/michaelmarty/U… Thanks for all who have helped spot bugs and test it! This version is mostly bug fixes, but there's some exciting stuff coming in the source code

New paper from the group describing UniChromCD for time-resolved CD-MS data, especially with fancy demultiplexing strategies! Great work James "Skippy" Sanders and team! pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10… As always, the software is open-source and free
