Delighted to be starting in my new role at CEO The Mercy Foundation next week. I’m proud of the impact that the team CRITICAL | Emergency Medical Response and I had on the development of pre hospital emergency medicine in Ireland but as they say “if it’s meant for you, it won’t pass you by”.

Looking forward to sharing details on the work we do The Mercy Foundation for patients and their families. Delighted to be an All-Ireland Business Foundation Charity Partner for this #Cork event

I have chosen to share my story because having cancer is now part of my life. I wake up with cancer, I take my kids to school, I work, I coach soccer. So I am living with cancer and with the amazing support of my family and the team Mercy University Hospital Cork I want that to continue.

Chemo Round 8 (ding ding 🔔 🥊) today. The team Mercy University Hospital Cork Lee Clinic are amazing. The care I’m receiving medically is what I’d expect but the care of the person and my mental health is top notch. Not unexpected but appreciated. So grateful for their kindness.

Wow! €68,049 raised for The Mercy Foundation & other good causes by a small group of cyclists who cycled in Sarti in Italy to raise funds. Delighted be presented by the Founder of Fort2Fort and Fort2Fort International Cycle, Sam Beamish with cheque for €61,244.

Exciting day today as we begin the process of moving to our new building on Dyke Parade. This new building will house our Cancer Centre and Clinical Psychology service as well as the The Mercy Foundation offices. #ourdoorisalwaysopen

One of my favourite features in our new The Mercy Foundation Cancer Centre on Dyke Parade. We have been very lucky to work with a great team who have respected the history and structures of the building.

At The Mercy Foundation we are about supporting innovative person centred projects like the ‘Grippy Socks Project’. In an effort to reduce slips, trips and falls in the busy Mercy University Hospital Cork Emergency Department we have funded special socks that reduce the risk of slips, trips and falls.
