Don't tell me how bad you want something and then not back your words up with action! Get off your rear end and go to work! NO MORE EXCUSES

Exceptional players and exceptional teams cannot exist without each other...It will not be be perfect - Success is often preceeded by failure. Failure does not stop excellence, it propels it!

Coaches & players must work TOGETHER in order to maximize the success of the PLAYERS career development. The relationship has to be willing to explore creative approaches that are in the best interest of the PLAYER. Its not about us, its about them. Don't mix that up.

2021: You control your own environment, take responsibility for your actions. You make your own decisions. There are ways to accomplish anything. You can change anything, but it requires action. Your window for action will eventually run out. You need to act now. #NoExcuses

As coaches, its natural to teach what we know, and what we've been around. But, if we really want to progress the players development, we need to realize there are techniques consistent to all players, & some that allow individualization. Our job, is to understand the difference.

Today Thomas Kane heads backs from the holiday break....last college guy to head back. Gonna miss all these guys. Thankful for the opportunity I had to see all of them for the past couple months. Big future for all of them. Incredibly hard workers. Miss em already!!!! Good Luck!!!!

Parents, please stop making excuses for your child when they make mistakes. Quit blaming other players and stop telling them its not their fault. Let the coaches coach, and allow them to hold your child accountable. You can still be their biggest fan while doing that. #NoExcuses

Coaches can often get too caught up in saying what they want to say, rather than figuring out what they need to hear. We should be rewarding players who seek out information and work hard to get results. Celebrate the players who are taking control of their career. Work WITH them

My idea of a PD plan is flexible, custom-fitted to the player, and over time, shifts the responsibility of development more to the side of the player and away from the coach. Learning to hold themselves accountable and maintain the progression is key to their success.

Watched a few youth games today. Teams up 15+ runs...stealing bases, drag bunting and straight stealing home. Obvious win, obvious separation of talent, max run diff secured. Also saw coaches SCREAMING at kids for mistakes...I get we all want to win. But, c'mon......DO BETTER

As coaches, we should be using the opportunity to help players not only in their sport, but w life skills. Just because a player doesn't match our personality, shouldn't mean we shut them out. Our job becomes more important w those that struggle within the environment. Do Better!
