I feel like psychometricians should make more diagrams like this, to better illustrate the meaning of the traits they measure. (I've said this before, but now I've improved the look of my diagram, so I'm gonna say it again.)

When we use CAT based on IRT with Fisher information, is it reasonable to calculate SE of a latent trait with the inverse of Fisher information? The selected item are not independent each other so I don’t know the SE is valid. Does any one know theoretical validation of it?
