Single, disabled mum at the age of 23 living in a council house, waited for my boy to start school, went back to college, got into university qualified with a 2:1 and have now just completed by PGDip in veterinary physiotherapy #Determinationhasnodisbility #excitingtimes

I'm seeing people complaining that physio clinics are looking more like gyms. Seriously?! At least, you are lucky to work in a country where the system can afford to give all those resources. You have the luxury to complain on such things!

Giving blood feels even more important when you're a gastro nurse. I've just made my 15th donation Give Blood NHS 🩸🩹 Here's a photo of me returning blood delivery boxes from one shift a few months ago 💉♥️ #giveblood #savealife #gastrosister

Consultant to me (UK’s 1st deafblind med student): C: “Imagine you’re a patient. Would you want a DISABLED doctor treating you? Absolutely not!” (I was then sent home) Me: standing awkwardly in front of all…is it unprofessional to stay or unprofessional to leave? #MedTwitter
