New lab paper led by 1st author @eventrig (an exceptional NIDA Postbac currently applying to PhD programs) in collabo with jordi bonaventura. Brain exposure of opioids is a critical but somewhat neglected area of research with important mechanistic & human therapeutic implications.

Can't block P-gp and then give people oliceridine. No bueno. PET with [11C]dlop is prob the way to go. Baby steps. Trevena interpreted the in vitro interaction they saw of oliceridine with P-gp as being "modest". Can't rely solely on in vitro data for in vivo implications.
