The podcast returns - and as Trevor A. Broadbank @DjTrevUK says towards the end of our seemingly endless Cars chart legitimacy ding-dong, can you tell we've not spoken to each other for six months?

In which I am roasted - roasted, I tell you! - by Nick Parkhouse and Trevor A. Broadbank @DjTrevUK for my Partridge-like stance on The Style Council.

Saw an advance copy of this book, edited by Mike Atkinson, whose stepfather James Hamilton was, the other day, and can't wait to read it. Essential reading for anyone interested in the history of soul and disco DJing in the UK and beyond. And a beautifully produced book.

Very pleased to receive this book from Greg Wilson - James Hamiltonās Record Mirror Disco columns between June 1975 and Dec 1982. A UK equivalent of Vince Alettiās brilliant Disco File: Hamilton is thorough, eclectic, and totally tuned into the dance floor

WHO WAS JAMES HAMILTON? If youāre a DJ/dance music enthusiast, under 50 years of age, itās likely youāve never come across the name James Hamilton, yet the dance culture we now take for granted simply wouldnāt have unfolded in the way it did without him. mixcloud.com/gregwilson/whoā¦
