Year 1 stepped back in time at the National Portrait Gallery! They became history detectives, exploring the amazing life of Mary Seacole. Inspired by her portrait, they reflected on how they’d like to be remembered—bringing history to life through art!

We’re excited to celebrate World Cultural & Diversity Day on Wed 21 May 2025! Children can wear traditional clothes & bring a poster about their family’s background. Join us after school for our PTA international food stall.

This week, it was our Reception class’s turn to visit Lambeth Fire Station.The children had an amazing time exploring the station, sitting inside the fire engine, and even having a go at using the hose. A huge thank you to the firefighters for such a truly memorable experience.

This morning, our Nursery and Reception children put on a heartwarming recital for their families! From classic nursery rhymes to joyful poems, they sang and spoke with such confidence and joy. A truly beautiful performance — well done to all our little stars.

Last term, Millbank Gardens came alive with colour as children wore traditional clothing for World Cultural Diversity Day. Pupils created thoughtful posters celebrating the rich cultures in our community—a chance to learn, show respect, and embrace what makes us unique.

Year 2 had a magical day at the British Library. From exploring space, jungle and ocean in the Story Explorer to meeting author Chris Haughton and hearing his seaside tales — it was a story-filled adventure we won’t forget!

Year 3 enjoyed a trip to Sinfonia Smith Square yesterday, where they watched a live orchestra and joined in with some singing. A great opportunity to experience classical music up close.

Nursery and Reception have been enjoying their garden spaces this week. Reception are watching to see how tall their flowers will grow, while Nursery have been exploring and playing among the cottage-style flower beds.

Year 3 had an unforgettable day at Lord’s, joining 943 children from 35 schools in a world-record cricket coaching session to celebrate 20 years of Chance to Shine . Thank you Lord's Cricket Ground for inspiring the next generation of cricketers.

Sports Day is Coming Up! We’re excited to welcome all parents and carers to our upcoming Sports Day events. Come along and support our amazing pupils as they take part in a fun-filled day of activities and friendly competition.

Over the past few weeks, our Year 5 classes and Year 2 children visited Westminster School to explore their pop-up planetarium. Led by Professor Walsh, the sessions sparked awe and curiosity. Thank you to Westminster for inspiring a love of astronomy beyond the classroom.

Our Reception sunflowers are loving the summer sun, growing taller than ever and starting to open up. Just like our little learners, they’re blossoming beautifully this season.

This term, our Windmill Coelho class have been shining in weekly drama workshops with Go Live Theatre. Huge thanks to the amazing facilitators who guided them through scarves, dance, mime, improv & singing to explore kindness. Their final performance truly lit up the room!
