First month of residency in the Cincinnati VA✅ Despite the stress of starting residency and learning a new system, it was an absolute honor to care for the brave men and women who have served our country. I will never forget the patients I met and their incredible stories!

Motor vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death for children in the US. The best way to protect children is by using the correct car seat for their age and size, and making sure it fits securely. #CheckBeforeYouChange #T4CIP

Kids under 4 years or less than 40 lbs. should be in a car seat, and kept rear-facing as long as possible to maximize safety. Only switch to forward facing when they meet the height or weight limit for their car seat. #CheckBeforeYouChange #T4CIP

Children under 8 years old who have outgrown their car seat should remain in a booster seat for their safety. Once they outgrow their booster seat, they should remain in the back seat with a seatbelt until the age of 13. #CheckBeforeYouChange #T4CIP
