I really feel for the talented journalists and writers affected by this latest wave of layoffs. Such a brutal, brutal industry. I wish there were some kind of solution in sight.

Even though I left Columbia, it’s cool to see the glow up of the South Carolina men’s basketball team from afar. Happy for the players I got the chance to know over the years. Some high-character guys in that group. LP certainly seems to have laid a good foundation.

So, so sad to hear this. Talking with Coach Martin was one of my favorite parts of covering college baseball. Such a delightful, kind man and an absolute legend in the sport. I still have a voicemail from him saved on my phone from years ago that I will never delete.
