🔥 Today, our class visited the Children’s Safety Village The Children's Safety Village of Brant to learn all about the science of fire! From understanding how fires start to exploring how they’re safely extinguished, it was a hot topic full of sparks and learning! 🚒🧯
Attended Laurier Faculty of Education’s Education Appreciation Event; a celebration of the partnerships that make meaningful learning possible. Events like this remind us that it takes a whole community—schools, communities, teachers and faculty—to support & inspire future educators.

Snapping back into teacher mode. Tonight’s fuel: a masterclass with Katie Novak on determining which evidence-based practices to use. It pushed my thinking about fit, feasibility & integrity of programs and how systems must recognize the importance of a strong evidence base.
