FUTURES loves to hear from our @VolusiaSchools teachers after they receive their Teacher Resource Store supplies. Orders keep pouring in! We have been working hard to get these supplies out to our awesome teachers. The store will stay open till Sept. 17th while supplies last.

On Friday, Third Grade participated in The First annual Gravity Olympics. Students were able to compete in 4 events: Balloon Relay, Balloon Rockets, Coffee Filter Float and Paper Airplanes. Students were testing how long they could oppose or overcome gravity with each activity.

🦃 Thanksgiving break is here, and so is Dr. Carmen Balgobin Winter Reading Challenge! Use your break to read and log those minutes for a chance to earn some amazing prizes! 📚 ✨ 600+ minutes = 90-minute jump pass at Sky Zone (jump socks not included) ✨ 400–599 minutes = 1-hour

Ms. Swanson’s class made Friendship soup and completed a science lab while making butter!! Fabulous🩵🎉

Mrs. Kiesel’s class did math problems in their respective groups, with fun “detours” throughout the challenge. The first team to complete all math challenges got to pie her in the face! It was sooo fun and engaging for all of her students⭐️🎉🩵
