Sacred leaves on display at Machacek! This monthโs display comes from longtime customer Emory, who is sharing his collection of hand-painted leaves from the Ficus religiosa. This tree is rare in North America but you can see one up close here in St. Louis at the MO Botanical Garden !

We saw that another Titan arum "corpse flower" at MO Botanical Garden could bloom in the near future so took a trip to check it out. Not blooming yet but always nice to visit the gardens even when it is sweltering hot.

Third time's the charm. The corpse flower at MO Botanical Garden started to bloom so hopped in the car for a late night showing to finally get to check it out in all its glory. A bit smaller than most, but "Desi" did not disappoint. Thanks to the Garden staff for making this possible.
