Mamdani is going to get many (well deserved) bouquets tonight and in the days to come. But I want to shine a light on his team and volunteers. They ran a fantastic campaign, incredible advertising and social media presence, knocked on 1.5 million doors.

Looks like NYC Democratic voters didn’t fall for the smear campaigns. The results tonight are a rejection of the Democratic establishment. A new day is coming.

Zohran’s victory is an earthquake. The left everywhere must dedicate itself to an insurgency against Dem incumbents. The Dem establishment has lost credibility w/ its base in the face of fascist threat. The base is looking leftward for new leadership. We are the opposition party.
