Looking forward to discussing the literary works of this wonderful woman at tomorrow's British Association for Modernist Studies conference at UEA.

Last session of the year! Excited to present my work on Amrita Pritam’s Partition Stories at #NWiMS Conference today at 3:45 PM 🇮🇳/ 10:15 AM 🇬🇧 by British Association for Modernist Studies! Gratitude to Dr @robbhawkes and Prof Taunton for the opportunity!

I can now share the gobsmacking and wonderful news that I have won the 2024 British Association for Modernist Studies essay prize for my work on the fabulous surrealist, Guillaume Apollinaire! It's an absolute honour!

Huge congrats to Genevieve Smart for winning the 2024 British Association for Modernist Studies essay prize 🏆 Genevieve developed the essay from a Broadly Conceived conference presentation in 2023 and honed the work at our writing retreat this year. Fantastic work and we can't wait to see it published!

Met so many lovely people at #NWiMS & presented "The Late Metaphysics of Mina Loy: 'Tuning in on the Atom Bomb'". A wholesome note to end my time as a Postgraduate Representative for British Association for Modernist Studies on!

I had a fantastic day at #NWiMS British Association for Modernist Studies yesterday, presenting on Experience and Expression in 'The Forbidden Zone' and (hopefully) spreading the word about the incredible Mary Borden. Wonderful to meet so many like-minded people and engage in fascinating conversations 🩵

Such an enjoyable and informative day at #NWiMS 14 🪴 I loved seeing how passionate everyone was about their topics! 🤍British Association for Modernist Studies #NWiMS14

I had a lovely time at British Association for Modernist Studies #NWiMS14! It was inspiring to see such a vibrant PGR and ECR community. I also presented my paper on ‘Virginia Woolf’s Grayish-Green Image of a Squat Chinese God’. Thank you to all who joined the panel.

today’s #modwrite is my last piece of writing for 2024, pondering the slipperiness of the spoken word in the glorious quiet of a library when everyone else has gone home for christmas British Association for Modernist Studies

Today's #ModWrite on mud, blood and abjection is brought to you from Cambridge by Kristeva, Borden and a large flask of tea. British Association for Modernist Studies
