Today, on #InternationalWomensDay, we are celebrating the remarkable women of @epsom_sthelier Meena works as a Junior Sister in the Children’s Emergency Department. This #IWD2024, she is celebrating the achievements of women and the triumphs of herself and her colleagues💙

Kristy is a Health Play Specialist at Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children based at @epsom_sthelier Reflecting on #IWD2024 Kristy says “For me, International Women's Day is an opportunity to recognise how far women have come and the invaluable support we provide for each other.”

This week I've visited every hospital in the #gesh group 🙌 Mon- Gateway Offices Tues- Epsom Weds- QMH Thurs- St Helier Fri- St George's Met some lovely people along the way. It's been a busy one but love getting out and about 🙏💙

My wonderful mum is volunteer official at Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Charity 💙 She's supported every NHS Charity I have worked at and is an all-around legend. Nicky Simpson for an OBE 2024 🥳🥳😂😂

The office phone rung this week ☎️ Since I've started, it's mostly been people trying to get in touch with a hospital department, their blood test results etc. This time, it was someone calling to donate £5,000 😳🙌🙏🎊 Progress is slow but very EXCITING 💙🏥 Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Charity

Haven't had lunch here in a while 👀 Definitely different not having my charity buddies around but still beautiful nonetheless ☀️🌻🌸 Such a perk of working at St George's 🏥

So grateful to John Greco/The Blossom Warrior for coming to visit Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Charity last week 🙌💙 Some exciting ideas in the pipeline to improve the Green space at our hospitals 🏥 🙏 I know a lot more plants now 😂 🪴

A super fun evening yesterday and so great to meet many new faces from across our hospitals 🏥

So I started couch to 5k in January, was feeling great and signed up for an event. I've got no signal on the train so can't watch my reality TV rubbish, so instead I'm trying out my new calligraphy pens 😂 Looking forward to the next couple of days in Birmingham with Charity colleagues 💙

Attended my 1st #NHSCharitiesConference after 8 years with 3 different NHS Charities. It was wonderful to connect with peers and catch up with old ones 💙 And I was delighted to be asked to help open the event by saying a few words about our ESTH journey of #transformation 🏥

Little non work life update from me 🙌 I turned 30 last week, and it was filled with so much love and laughter, and I'm so grateful ❤️ I'm really looking forward to this next chapter and seeing what it brings both personally and professionally 🙏⭐️ Hello Chapter 30 👋

Board not working on the platform at #ClaphamJunction TfL meaning I somehow end up on the wrong train. End up in Esher and trains back to London are cancelled. Can't tap out as I've gone too far so gonna be charged. Now paying for an uber to the hospital 🏥 #Thisis30

Proud Monday 🥳 We've launched our new charity website, which I've been working on for months 🙏 It was a mammoth task and to have got it all complete for free with incredible volunteer support was the icing on the cake 🎂 Go and take a look 🙏👀
