NEVER FORGET what the NYPD did to Kalief Browder. A young innocent black man who sat on Rikers Island for 3 YEARS w/o trial for a backpack he DIDN’T steal. He committed suicide after spending two yrs in solitary confinement. 730 days alone. This was in 2015. Only 5 years ago!
