In-house project update. The Ministry of Public Works and Transport is currently rehabilitating the D41 road from Nginamadvolo, passing through Nsangwini, a 37 KM project servicing at least 3 schools, amongst other facilities. A commitment by the Ministry to ensure accessibility through the Road networks.

Mpolonjeni Low-level crossing. Ministry of Public Works and Transport through its in-house project team, has completed the Mpolonjeni Low-level crossing. This project included re-graveling and concrete sealing on sloping areas. The project serves the Mpolonjeni Community Primary School.

Regraveling on the Mantambe - Masiphula (D49) road is currently in progress as part of the Ministry’s comprehensive regraveling program. This work is being carried out under the Shiselweni 1 Inkhundla area.

Near completion of the construction of Umtambe Low Level Crossing under Gege Inkhundla in Shiselweni Region.

Ncotshane River Crossing in the Shiselweni 1 inkhundla area Is nearing completion. It includes 3 km spot re-gravelling that will improve accessibility for the Mkhwakhweni community. It will also facilitate better connectivity to the Mzipha Clinic and Mzipha Primary School.

The newly completed Ndlalane - Gobolodlwayini (D12) Road is set to be a relief in the Lubombo Region. This 7 km asphalt road services three community schools. This road is part of the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to develop regional infrastructure. facebook.com/61557351092243…

Rehabilitation work is currently ongoing at kaMjuda in Nhlangano. Progress is at 30%, and the project is on track to meet its deadline. This rehabilitation work is being carried out by the in-house project team.

The ka Mjuda rehabilitation project is currently 50% complete. This area, like many others within the Shiselweni Region, was significantly impacted by the recent heavy rains. The Ministry, through its in-house project team, is working tirelessly to rebuild the bridge.
