Three MPHS art students earned state medals! Stephanie Hernandez earned a state gold medal for her piece, “Eternal Youth.” Josue Vega earned a state gold medal for his piece “Cowboys.” Cassandra Saavedra earned her 1st state gold medal for her piece, “Never Gonna Give You Up.”

The Tiger Doll Officers for 2023-2024 are Captain Genevieve Rubio, Senior Lieutenant Makayla Spigner, & Junior Lieutenant Jalyssa Aguilar. Sergeants include Audrey Fisher (Head Sergeant), Violet Castaneda, Haley Garcia, Jamie Garrett, Valeria Vega, & Morgan Zepeda.

MPISD will conduct and active shooter drill on Wednesday, May 31 at Mount Pleasant High School.

Our local north end McDonald’s will be hosting a community pep rally this Friday, September 27 from 7:00-7:45 a.m. So stop by McDonald’s on your way to work, get breakfast, and see our football players, cheerleaders, Tiger Doll officers, and Goin’ Gold Band drumline! Go Tigers!
