Join CCFOI next week as it honors Cathy Osten and Senator James Maroney with the Bice Clemow Award for their work supporting open government. Sen. Maroney ensured transparency was a pillar of a new AI law, and Sen. Osten helped secure funding for an additional FOIC staff attorney.

When I heard that dog had helped in the capture of the prison escapee, I had only one thought: What was the name of the dog? Turned out to be Yoda, so he was a Jedi dog. Can't imagine reading that story without getting to name of the dog. Still a great lesson for reporters.
