Tomorrow we celebrate Harvest with our Harvest Festival in School

Our ‘Jeans for Genes’ day is Friday 21st September

Years 5 and 6 represent the school at a Swimming Gala tomorrow 27th September

Half term starts on Friday 19th October and we return on 29th October

Our annual PTA Fireworks Night will be held on Saturday 3rd November in the school playground. Gates will open at 4.15pm and there will be a low noise display at 6pm, with the main display taking place at 6.45pm.

This week is Anti Bullying Week.

Year 5 are heading off to Butser Ancient Farm for some experimental archaeology.

We have had a busy start to the Autumn Term with many children representing our school at Football. The Year 2s visited Goals in New Malden and played against various primary schools in our area. They came away with a mixture of results, including two wins.

The Year 4 girls traveled to Kew AFC for their tournament. They faced some tough competition, but showed grit and determination to secure a couple of wins for Malden Parochial, including a 5 - 0 victory.

Yesterday, our Year 6 Girls visited Chessington School and played five tough football games. Well done to the girls for consistently displaying fair play and good sportsmanship.

This morning, our top Year 5 and 6 runners took on a 2km course at Kingston Grammar School. It was a wet, cold start to the day which meant MUDDY conditions! With over 120 children it was a tough race. Congratulations to all who braved the weather this morning to represent MPS.

Year 3 TAG Rugby Our Spring term sport is off to a flying start! Yesterday, we had a fantastic afternoon of TAG rugby involving our Year 3 children. With fifteen other schools competing in this tough festival we finished top of the table. Well done Year 3!

Thursday afternoon, our Year 5 boys took part in their football competition at Chessington School. A spirited performance from the boys against tough competition saw them finish in 6th place. Some excellent goals were scored along with some fantastic saves. Well done boys.

Tomorrow we will be wearing yellow in support of the charity 'Young Minds'. The mental health and wellbeing of all our children at Malden Parochial School is incredibly important to us, and we are proud to be partaking the worthwhile cause that is #HelloYellow.
