Happy to see our recent work on Photo-electrochemical CO2 to CO conversion utilizing highly concentrated sunlight🔥🔥 (450 suns) highlighted in the cover page of @AdvEnrgMat recent issue Sophia Haussener JanakyLab NCCR Catalysis FlowPhotoChem.eu EPFL Mechanical Engineering doi.org/10.1002/aenm.2…

Our paper on solar-driven CO2-to-CO conversion (onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ae…) made a cover of Adv. Energy Mat. @AdvSciNews Record production rates (>1NLCO/h) with high STF efficiencies (19%)! Collaboration with JanakyLab &supported by FlowPhotoChem.eu & NCCR Catalysis EPFL School of Engineering

🎵 Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun, please shine down on me 🎶 Sophia Haussener's approach uses highly concentrated sunlight ☀️ to convert CO2 ➡️ CO and is featured on the latest @AdvSciNews Advanced Energy Materials cover! Congratulations, Sophia and team 🥳

🏆Join us in congratulating Mahendra (EPFL) for winning the Sustainable Energy and Fuels (RSC Energy Journals) poster prize yesterday!🎉

Excited to share that I’ve received the “Best poster award” Solar2Chem winter school in Valencia from Royal Society of Chemistry Sustainable Energy and Fuels for my work on Photo-Electrochemical Conversion of CO2 to Solar Fuels with Concentrated Solar Irradiation.🌞Thank you Sophia Haussener for the support. #solar

🎉 Congratulations to Mahendra Mahendra for the best poster award at the Solar2Chem winter school! 🎉 We're so glad to have you as part of NCCR Catalysis!

We hire: Open PhD position in degradation modelling of photoelectrochemical material systems and devices. Are you a curious electrochemistry and modelling expert? Want to join LRESE@EPFL in 🇨🇭? Details and how to apply: epfl.ch/labs/lrese/wp-… Please RT! EPFL Mechanical Engineering ECS

In San Francisco for #S23MRS Materials Research Society (MRS) I will present Wednesday, 13:30, on bridging photoelectrochemistry and thermochemistry for solar fuels. From Sophia Haussener, Mahendra will present on photo-electrochemical CO2 reduction with concentrated light (Wed, 14:45). See you there!

Fresh from press in Nature Energy "Kilowatt-scale solar hydrogen production system using a concentrated integrated photoelectrochemical device". Congrats to Isaac, Saurabh, Clemens nature.com/articles/s4156… Support by BFE - OFEN - UFE FlowPhotoChem.eu Gebert Rüf Stiftung EPFL School of Engineering

Had a great time #S23MRS at San Francisco. So much cool research going on. Talked about my work on photo-electrochemical CO2 reduction to Solar fuel with concentrated solar light. Sophia Haussener Materials Research Society (MRS)

We show reversible operation of a photo-electrochemical device is feasible (in photo-driven electrolysis and fuel cell modes) in a new paper in Cell Reports Physical Science cell.com/cell-reports-p… Work supported by European Space Agency and led by Mahendra and #Alexandre

Finally, out in Cell Reports Physical Science , we show that a photo-electrochemical device can reversibly operate to produce solar fuel in photo-driven electrolysis mode and power in fuel cell mode under high solar concentration.Sophia Haussener SoHHytec supported by European Space Agency cell.com/cell-reports-p…
