Had a great day door knocking in the 45th ward yesterday for Jennifer Custer, candidate for Chicago School Board District 1! Jenni is an experienced educator dedicated to equitable, sustainable, fully funded & resourced public schools. Be sure to find school board on your ballot!

"This was a hate rally. This was not just a presidential rally, this was not just a campaign rally. I think it's important for people to understand these are mini January 6 rallies, these are mini Stop the Steal rallies." -@aoc @repaoc on Trump's New York City rally

The Republicans are desperately trying to spin the MSG hate fest down to “one bad joke.” It was not. It was an entire day of vulgar racism, hate, threats of violence, and bigotry. That is Trump’s closing message. Those speakers were chosen for a reason.

On the doors in Battle Creek, Michigan yesterday for Harris-Walz campaign, the latest of our multiple trips to swing states in the past 3 months. This is what I committed to doing when I ran for committeeperson earlier this year, and Dems 45 has made it happen! #KamalaHarris2024

Voting today is especially meaningful. I get to vote with my parents, who became citizens after they gave up everything so that I could have opportunities they did not. And this year is the first year my aunt Corina is eligible to vote after waiting decades to become a citizen.

Election Day 2024! It’s been a busy day at the polls in the 45th ward today - delivering food, coffee & snacks to election workers, greeting voters, giving people rides to the polling place, supporting endorsed candidates, and thanking our dedicated volunteers! #Vote2024

With votes still being counted, Cook County Judge Shannon O’Malley is under the 60% “yes” vote threshold needed to stay on the bench. Two others hover just above it. More updates on and analysis of the Cook County judicial retention races: injusticewatch.org/judges/judicia…
