It is fine to question the news, critically look at what you are seeing and hearing and identify bias. It is not fine to say all news is fake so I don’t listen to it. Ignorance about what is going on in the world isn’t helpful.

You are not a bad teacher if you do not buy into the “you need to entertain” “would you buy tickets to your lesson” mentality. This idea that our classroom should be a party is ridiculous.

Your classroom does not need to be a party to be an effective teacher. It might sell books and earn you a following but focusing on the work of teaching is more important than being a circus performer.

I think the most hypocritical thing I see from some conservative voices on this app are the statements about the rising rate of homelessness. Hypocritical because if the government tries to address it those same voices condemn them for not being fiscally responsible. 🤷‍♂️
