Review BroadwayWorld for AFTER THE ACT Breach Royal Court. ★★★★★ "This Section 28 verbatim musical is achingly relevant… confrontational, painfully timely, and if you will excuse the theatre criticism cliche, essential viewing.” broadwayworld.com/westend/articl…

Really enjoyed #AfterTheAct Royal Court. Telling the story of the campaign against Section 28 through the eyes of the activists involved, & the personal stories of queer people impacted. Very powerful and moving, with pertinent lessons for today. Thanks for the Q&A David Byrne!

While this looks like I might be one of the winners of our Young Playwrights Award, can reassure everyone that I was told repeatedly by Team Royal Court that I wasn't allowed to enter. Also, turns out all the winners were better writers than me anyway. Can't wait to share them.

Tonight as I head to bed in London, Operation Mincemeat on Broadway are preparing to perform The Tony Awards in New York - with multiple nominations, including Best New Musical. Sending all my love - and thank you for the gift of being a small part of this incredible thing you've created. 💛💼

Review for Sarah Kane's 4.48 Psychosis Royal Court The RSC. ★★★★★ "Striking integrity and ambition: it is a profound, lyrical reflection on mortality and consciousness and on the human need for love." Sarah Hemming Financial Times. ft.com/content/d604f5…
