We had our Kids Heart Challenge Event this week where we raised almost $3,000 for the American Heart Association! Then today was our Annual 6th Grade Students vs. Faculty Volleyball Game! Students Manor Oaks School are learning how to navigate the gym and the road in this fun activity! It started out as locomotor movements and ended with them driving their own cars while learning the rules of the road. They were even able to get a car wash! Although they aren’t current Dr.JenniferMorrison-Raptis, NHPGCP Superintendent students, these Manor Oaks School graduates came to volunteer as Coaches in Training at my camp this summer. These amazing alumni worked with children with visual impairments and helped teach them so many new skills and sports #proud2bnhpgcp 😆
