You know that point in pregnancy when you start to feel real pregnant? Me today having to pick anything up because it all hurts.

Service Club was the best today! We talked about kindness and serving others. We worked with our team to create the longest chain with something kind on each chain. Then, we delivered candy with notes of thankfulness to teachers! Munford Elementary #workingonourroar

Yesterday, we finished reading The Wild Robot and spent the morning learning in nature. It was cool to see students make connections in real life and see the spark in their eyes when they turn to me to say, “That was like what happened in our book.” That’s what learning is!

Today, students are judges, looking at author’s claims and reasons. They are determining claims together, and then they are headed back to their seats for an independent Seesaw assignment. This will in turn help us be better text detectives and argumentative writers.
