Anyone who says you can't change the way things are is probably either afraid you will or ashamed they didn't try.

I don't have good reach anywhere and my CPP-Disability is just 867 per month to live off of without any kind of coverage. Keeping this circulating is greatly appreciated. Goal is 221.96.

#canada should have had a sovereign fund from resources for decades, it could have funded so much more than what we currently have, for the betterment of all our citizens.

I think it’s not unlikely that a lot of elite private schools (secondary and higher ed) will market themselves as teaching students to use AI responsibly. Then, when AI is fully integrated in public schools, they will ban them and market themselves as offering AI-free education.

I think AI is one of many ways they are trying to build new gates. I remember sitting in a first year lecture thinking to myself: Wow, no wonder they used to keep us plebs out of these places. And my next thought was: Wonder how long this lasts?

I love when people frame zoning in strong moral terms, but rent control and eviction protections in strictly practical terms - because it reveals that all they actually care about are property rights.

Zoning is "marshaling the coercive power of the state" But eviction - where the state will *actually* send armed men to help you remove someone from their home - well that's just an economic question

Fawning is a trauma response common among disabled ppl. Apologizing excessively is a predictable outcome of being dehumanized & treated like a burden on a political, social & economic level. I actually apologized for rupturing an artery & needing blood transfusions recently.

If I were going to summarize the “Abundance Agenda” in one sentence it would be “permanently severing the Democrats Party’s relationship with unions and replacing it with a vastly expanded alliance with Big Tech and Crypto.”
