As part of the NumPy 2.0 release, Mateusz Sokół added a Ruff rule to automate the migration away from removed and deprecated APIs. All but one are backwards compatible with existing NumPy versions, so you can apply them prior to upgrading too.

We’re building a new static type checker for Python, from scratch, in Rust. From a technical perspective, it’s probably our most ambitious project yet. We’re about 800 PRs deep!
