Now that I’ve been to the four Tree House Brewing Co.🍺 outposts in MA, it’s time to rank em’: 1. Charlton. It’s the hub. The home-base. The first true expansion. 2. Tewksbury. Golf. And the taproom is a beaut. 3. Deerfield. A superb concert venue. 4. Sandwich. Lobster rolls by the sea.

Sure, regional, packaging breweries aren't fairing as well as they once did, but things are much better for taprooms that can grow a following built around beer and events, while dipping their toes into local distribution.

Jack's Abby, coming off its recent purchase of Wormtown Brewery, has today reached a deal to buy Night Shift Brewing, skyrocketing it into the top 30 craft brewers in the nation. Jacks, under the Hendler Family Brewing Co., expects to produce 100,000 barrels in 2025.

The Mass Brewers Guild today is celebrating a major win, with the state’s craft brewers now able to sell their products at farmers markets, joining cider and wine producers. The legislation was part of the state’s Economic Development bill signed yesterday.
