The City of Eugene has declared a snow/ice emergency and is advising people to stay home this evening. Numerous crashes have closed several roads tonight, including I-5 in both directions near Coburg. LTD says service was suspended on all routes at 8 p.m.

Lane County Public Works said Thursday evening that more than 20 vehicles were in the ditch along 30th Avenue near the main campus of Lane Community College. The road is closed between I-5 and Spring Ave in Eugene.

I like the chart more because you can see the change in the last few years. Just as El Niño has exaggerated this year's change, the chart shows that La Nina hid just how quickly things are changing, giving the impression that 2022 showed a slowing of warming.
