In NUP , he was meant to be a participant in advancing the cause for freedom & not a spectator. He just seems not to have been aware of his mission. What a pity.

The fact of the matter is that I normally do not pay attention to the motives behind any question or who asks it. I only respond because a question which deserves an answer has been posed.

The road to freedom is full of many obstacles. It takes courage & resilience to navigate it till it's ultimate end. As you have stated & correctly so, " time is the best judge". May the Lord grant us life to witness the future that is unfolding. In the meantime,Peace be with you.

I have over time observed, that when you respond to one who has asked a question, regardless of the motive, the response benefits many who had the same question in their minds but never asked.

Incidentally the "fights" were never personal. Had they been personal, I suppose there would have been stability after our separation. We just chose to move on & established stability where we settled.

Moving forward & backwards are both acts of motion. But the destinations are in opposite directions. You seem not to discern the difference.

Freedom & oppression stand on opposite sides even when they are locked in continuous contention. At any given point in time individuals chose what to side with, fight & if necessary die for. Freedom never changes position. We seem to have different perspectives on the issue.

Mugisha Muntu (@mugishamuntu) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It is not freedom which shifts it's position. Freedom remains what it is - FREEDOM ( it can't turn & become opression). It is individuals who shift. A freedom fighter can become an oppressor or an oppressor turn & become a freedom fighter. You seem to be mixing the two.

Correction. Hon Kassiano run on the ANT ticket. I separated with FDC ( that is fact). The issue is not our leaving or where we left. The issue is the direction we took. We changed vehicles of delivery but not the direction where we were heading.

Mugisha Muntu (@mugishamuntu) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Correction: the fact is that when we separated with FDC we were "stoned" / judged. Heavily so, unless you never paid attention. It is time that has absolved us. When you chose to be a leader you can't avoid getting scrutinized. Currently that's where Alionzi finds himself.

Libya & Iraq never even had any loans from the world bank. Ivory Coast had the most vibrant economy on the continent before it plunged into chaos. The Ugandan economy was one of the best performing in the region at the time of the coup in 1971. Keenly observe. Think deep.

I am intrigued that you picked that for your commentary & ignored the following sentence. Nevertheless your view is noted. When you get an opportunity apply it.

" Isn't it beautiful when competent people are actually employed to do what they are good at......". Excellent observation Kay. Thank you for bringing it out so beautifully.
