For Women's History Month, we have a book display with several books that celebrate the contribution women have made to journalism over the centuries. Our library wouldn't exist without Sara Lockwood Williams, a journalist who was also married to the first Dean of the J School.

Come check out our book display this month, all about cats! Yes, there is a stereoype about librarians who have cats... and most of us fulfill that stereotype quite admirably. Here is a picture of my favorite girl. Her name is Luna and she is an extremely affectionate cat.

The J Library has new hours until the end of the semester! 8 am - 10 pm Mon-Thurs & 12 pm -8 pm on Sundays!

It's still cat month at the J Library! This is a picture of Gary. Gary was an extremely loving boy who enjoyed watching The Great British Bake Off. Come see him and all our other star cats at the J Lib!

We have a new Cat Star at the J Lib today and his name is Nox! He is wearing his bat costume and one of his favorite things to do is knock over cups--especially if they are full.

Today's Cat Star is Jasmine! She's around 15, loves to chatter at birds, and adores running water (specifically drinking it out of the sink). Come see her and all our other cats here at the J Library!

Today's Cat Star at the J Lib is Darryl! He's a grumpy yet sweet old man whose best friend is the home projector his mother owns--probably because it's warm. Time with Darryl is guaranteed if it's turned on!

Today's Cat Stars are Sam and Rosie! Rosie is a loveable, jumpy lap cat. Sam loves to launch himself across the room to a lap and has been described as "not as stupid as he looks." ...Ivy must also be included! She keeps everyone safe by barking at all noises, all night.

Our Cat Stars today are Matilda and Mulder! Matilda's favorite things are to ride on the shoulders of her owner during chore time and (sometimes) eat yarn. Mulder is always angry and loves to scream while watching X-Files.

We can't compete with the Engineering Library's kittens, but we here at the J Lib do have our trail mix bar for the week and we still have our cat display up! Come see pictures of all our kitties! Meanwhile, here is a study buddy: Luna Lovebug!
