This week, the head of MLMG, Szymon, attended the 2nd FoPM (s.u-tokyo.ac.jp/en/FoPM/) International Symposium, organized at The University of Tokyo. He delivered a plenary lecture regarding luminescent molecular materials for the audience of students involved in the FoPM program.

Using a NIR-photoluminescent signal from Nd(III) complexes, you can trace a photomagnetic effect from attached W(IV)-cyanido metalloligands! Check out our article on a unique luminescent molecule-based photomagnet which has just appeared in Angewandte Chemie: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/an… ☺️
