Scenes from my morning run to Richmond almond the Thames Path...

The beauty of the world at our doorstep revealed on my runs to work along the Grand Union Canal. I have done this route dozens of times and never cease to be amazed at the changes in the scene from day to day and with the seasons.

Run to Great Hill in Lancashire on Xmas eve. Beautiful at any time of the year. Today I met runners from a local club on their annual Xmas ‘social’ run. Many ‘hiyas’ and ‘Merry Xmas’s exchanges! Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to all...

11:15 am Sunday morning and hardly anyone using Central Line at Bond Street..I ran along the Grand Union canal to see my patient and taking the underground to get back.

Finished the virtual London Marathon for Macmillan about an hour ago. Ran it in Lancashire where nothing is flat, but most enjoyable! Didn’t think I would be able to do a marathon again after ACL rupture last year and Covid-19 earlier this year..but I did!

Marylebone High Street comes alive again! On my way to Bond St station, happy scenes of people eating and drinking outside on a sunny day. Great to pop into Daunt Books to browse for books in paper form and choose one after months of digital media!

After a 7 hour crawl up the M6 yesterday when the whole country appeared to be travelling, cleared the cobwebs with a run in beautiful Lancashire.
