The UCSB press office wrote a nice piece on our Measuring and Tracking Inclusion (MTI) platform (inclusion.mnl.ucsb.edu; UCSB Dept. of Comm; UCSB Psychological and Brain Sciences) and on a recent collaborative research project with our friends Annenberg Inclusion Initiative and Snapchat. I was happy to talk a bit about the role and representation of racial minorities in popular movies. Many of these insights were produced by a study led by the brilliant Musa Malik in collaboration with Media Neuroscience Lab and myself. Full study link: aup-online.com/content/journa…

Kudos to Musa Malik who presents our work on the global representation of morality and its ecological determinants at the Media and Morality conference in Buffulo. It is a terrific conference with many new and in part provocative ideas.
