I went on the excellent 'Vex in the City' tour with Maurice East Museum of Oxford on Tuesday afternoon. Maurice was great - he gave a very personal tour which covered Oxford's historic past but also more recent events

Today is the 1st day of Navratri. Navratri is a hindu festival, which celebrates the victory of Good over Evil, worshipping the 9 forms of Maa Durga. We would like to wish those celebrating, a blessed, colourful & auspicious Navratri. 💃🏻🪔🕺🏻 #navratri2023 #BAMEVision

BAMEVision Museum of Oxford Last Saturday, a visitor from India asked me “why do we have the Lahinga and Choli on display.” After a brief conversation I learned that one occasion for which it is worn is Navratri! Hadn’t realised it was just around the corner!

Had a great day running two workshops with Angela Kecojevic at Museum of Oxford for children. No need to worry that our stories were too scary for little ones-children's imaginations are VERY dark! Love the illustration a 5-year-old did of Lindy, too. @publishinguclan Neem Tree Press

I’m not one for getting teary but I was really moved by Museum of Oxford’s beautifully executed dual language allotment display. Not only was it an excellent example of best practice it also echoed exactly what I found researching allotments - they are inclusive spaces and yet
