#Gangers is what I call an 'alright entertainer'. It's a film that can probably be more but is content with being timepass fun. Doesn't take itself seriously, writing isn't too laggy & the twists are fine. Could've had better music & done away with some tasteless comedy though.

I think it's enough proof that we cannot write away Sundar C as a writer-director. He needs to have a more diverse writer's room to weed out the boomerism & age-old cliches & stereotypes in his scripts. That done, I believe he could be the rare entertainer director in KWood.

Just realised the fact that Mani Ratnam & PC Sreeram must have been batchmates while studying in Vidya Mandir... I wonder if they made plans to collaborate that early in school.

Film was bloody brilliant. Best written film in the entire series. Christopher McQuarrie masterclass on how to write emotional beats & tie up character arcs. Probably my favourite in the series, only next to Rogue Nation. So much more to talk about this film. Loved it.

If not for Nani, I would've switched off HIT 3 very early. There were simply no stakes in the film, which is a weird choice for a murder mystery film. Also doesn't have a lot in the way of twists & is very predictable. Sailesh, please do better with our man Karthi😭🙏
