Our SADC Secretariat Ministers of Gender & Women’s Affairs Meeting kicks off today in Harare under the theme, “Promoting Innovation to Unlock Opportunities for sustained Economic Growth & Development towards an Industrialised SADC.”



Senior Officials have convened again this morning for the SADC Secretariat Ministers of Gender & Women’s Affairs meeting which kicked off yesterday in Harare as Member States focus on monitoring progress & accelerating the implementation of the #SADC Protocol on Gender & Development.


#HappeningNow SADC Secretariat Senior Officials Meeting was concluded this morning in #Harare. Our Permanent Secretary Dr. Mavis Sibanda gave her closing remarks. It will be followed by the official opening of the joint meeting of #SADC Ministers Responsible for Gender tomorrow.

The SADC Secretariat Chairperson for Gender & Women’s Affairs Hon. Minister Monica Mutsvangwa officially opened the Meeting of SADC Ministers Responsible for Gender & Women’s Affairs this morning.
