NYPD out here in Queens doing Amazon’s bidding by roughing up and arresting workers who are standing up for themselves. The Teamsters have a right to strike and our police should be protecting them, not Jeff Bezos

Did you know that NYC operates its own workers comp insurance carrier for city workers? In fact, it’s notorious in this capacity. The city mishandles and delays more cases and wage payments for injured its workers than any other employer in the state. nysfocus.com/2024/12/19/new…

In my 3 years covering CM Vickie Paladino, my peers have asked me constantly: “Is she actually crazy?” When I tell her this, she laughs. “I love it when they ask that.” She may be the future of the GOP in NYC. My cover story debut for City & State NY: cityandstateny.com/personality/20…

After I did a story on understaffing in the Labor Department's unemployment division a year and a half ago, every few months I get an email from a New Yorker who can't get through to get their benefits desperate for advice. I wish I had an answer for them.
