Check out our video for important safety tips to keep your family and community safe while celebrating Independence Day. The City of North Miami Beach has an ordinance (Ordinance No. 1295) that prohibits excessive noise, including fireworks, past 11:00 p.m.

On July 7th, NMBPD responded to 2041 NE 161st Street. Tarasik Abdell, 47, Reiner Mosqueda, 41 were both shot. Tarasik Abdell expired at the hospital and Reiner Mosqueda remains in stable condition. No arrests have been made. Investigation remains active.
