NCAFP President Dr. Mark McNeill presented on how to advocate with lawmakers, not only as a family physician but also as a trusted resource to understand NC health care. Thanks to MAHEC for hosting us!

Thank you to Rep. Dr Tim Reeder, Rep. Grant Campbell for NC, and Rep. Rep. Reece Pyrtle for meeting with Dr. Bailey Sanford and Hannah Rayala! They are both completing our policy elective, so visiting the General Assembly to discuss these reps' own advocacy journeys was a great day!

Had a great few days on Capitol Hill earlier this week advocating for family physicians and their patients. Great meetings with Rep. Murphy, Rep. Moore, Rep. Adams, and Rep. Foxx, as well as healthcare staff from many of the others in NC's Congressional delegations.
