Last September, I was lucky to help our school organize our TLDSB school display for the LindsayEx ♥️ If you’re looking for fun August activities or BTS activities check out the LEX prize book; great opportunity for children to connect with our local community!

The last day of school last year, I turned around to see our class was working together to move a very heavy piece of wood so they could all try and reach a branch. Reminder for the year ahead; teach teamwork, kindness, unity and compassion. ♥️

During beginning assessments, we learned many students needed support learning uppercase and lowercase letters make the same sound and share the same name. Apple Match was a fun way to start our day and create meaningful connections between letter case. ♥️ #assessmentforlearning

Morning Phonics! We are working on learning a/s/p/i/n/t ♥️ First we practice our sounds and then blend and segment words using letter/word cards. Then our whiteboards come out so we can listen to the letter sounds and spell words! So many skills in 15 minutes! #earlyliteracy
