Some fairly wild weather down in #Penzance and #Newlyn today, but a really good few days with The Architectural Heritage Fund's Board and team. Visited a range of projects all at different stages but each with amazing community-led efforts behind them.

Just back from an energising visit to Penzance & neighbouring Newlyn with The Architectural Heritage Fund colleagues and trustees. There’s such a can do community spirit in Cornwall, driven by some incredible grassroots groups like Penzance Regeneration Co., set to take on the old market house.

Maddeningly I'm going to miss Neal Shasore 's lecture 'Monumental Designs on Democracy' C20 Society tomorrow, Thursday evening, but the rest of you have no excuse. Highly recommended! secure.c20society.org.uk/Default.aspx?t…

Another very kind review of my book Designs on Democracy by Alistair Fair for the The London Journal. Thank you!

Very nice of Olly Wainwright to mention my work after I spoke largely AT him for 30 mins about helping Royal Institute of British Architects with this significant show. Looking forward to seeing how it has come together later this week.

A blistering article by Olly Wainwright on the new RIBA exhibition that is attempting to deal with its own colonial history. theguardian.com/artanddesign/2…
