During this deaf awareness week, as Nandi YSD in collab. with VSO Kenya & County Government of Nandi ICT ofice, we're proud to support our deaf friends in training them on leadership. Particularly on communication which happens to be a significant barrier to the realization of their aspirations.

Dan Katam Nandi YSD VSO Kenya County Government of Nandi Felix Angaira I was really glad to share with the deaf community and as a facilitator teaching about leadership it felt like a priviledge. I left with better knowledge even knew how to sign my name using sign language.

International day of forests held at Kobujoi, Nandi was a big success thanks to all partners that came on board. What is clear is, the task ahead to protect our forests and increase forest cover. It's all hands on deck!
