I'm excited to share our review in its final form! Follow the link to our article in Microbes and Infection about the influence of microbiota-derived metabolites on the immune system and glial cells to impact multiple sclerosis and experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis!

Excited to share a preprint of our latest story! We show 1. Age-associated B cells are increased in people with MS, 2. Latent viral infection and autoimmunity drive ABCs to distinct phenotypes, and 3. ABCs are required for viral exacerbation of EAE. biorxiv.org/cgi/content/sh…

Our newest (and my first) paper is out now in eLife - the journal! We find that infecting mice with a herpesvirus leads to more severe arthritis. There are also changes to synovial infiltration and age-associated B cells - check it out! doi.org/10.7554/eLife.…

Happy to share our review discussing ways in which type 2 immune responses, commonly triggered in the gut, can influence both protective and pathogenic responses in other tissues. Thanks to Judi Allen for the invite to write this, and to Arthur Mortha for the #bestcollaborationever

This has been a super interesting project and an amazing team to collaborate with! Check out this pre-print on the effects of age on chronic vs relapsing disease in a mouse model of MS

Thanks @MSSocietyCanada for one last year of funding through an endMS doctoral studentship! I'm excited to keep exploring how helminth infections and the gut microbiome change the immune landscape in mouse models of MS. Congrats to all recipients!
