First budget delivered by a woman EVER. First budget by a new government in 14 years. I am excited in the way all nerdy politics folk are. But leaving aside the history of the moment, it must come with action on child poverty, malnutrition and hunger.

👀 just had a spin through this and congrats to NGA For Schools & Trusts #VisibleGovernance and Department for Education - lots of good stuff in here. Particularly the v sensible questions governors can ask senior leaders. Such as: - are we complying with the standards; are children entitled to free meals taking them up
