Súper sesión hoy en American Association of Geographers Conference con Natasha Pauli “urban blur-green infrastructure” 💪

Today I had a chance to explore the beautiful Tucson campus of University of Arizona - I am falling in with cacti and succulents! The best part of the day was meeting our wonderful colleagues from udallcenter - so looking forward to the next week of working and learning together!

Three out of four of our UWA Research team are now here in beautiful Tucson! Here's me, Prof Maria Ignatieva and @AshSinghUWA learning about all things arid at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum - absolutely brilliant day out. #pitayadulce #organpipecactus #sonoradesert

OK Team Centre for Water and Spatial Science and Team UWA Dept of Geography & Planning, we may need to up our plant game before our udallcenter and University of Arizona colleagues come visit us in spring...how amazing is the Environment & Natural Resources 2 building!

We have had the most incredible day here at University of Arizona. Our amazing colleagues here put together a fantastic forum sharing knowledge on urban greening initiatives from Tucson and Perth, from multiple perspectives. Our UWA Research team learned so much!

We spent an inspiring afternoon at Mission Garden with our new colleagues and friends, learning about ethnobotany, history, culture, local plants, community gardens, agriculture, water use and more. We are so lucky to be here in this living desert cultural landscape.

The Udall Center is currently hosting four researchers from the University of Western Australia as part of our mutual year-long "Shades of Urban Greening" project. To learn more, join us at toady's colloquium talk with UWA Senior Lecturer Natasha Pauli at 3:30pm in ENR2 S107.

Great way to end a day of talks at #iag2023, with sunset watercolour class led by the talented Ellie Biggs How awesome that the conference organisers are including art opportunities in the program 🖌️🎨 I rarely attempt buildings, but in the spirit of trying something new...

#IAG2023 embodying coexistence & collaboration real-time.. I am now presenting my #urbanagriculture #communityresilience & #climatechange PhD research today @ 2:35pm (Nature, Risk & Resilience) thanks to Natasha Pauli & Connor Goddard Tim Cavagnaro Melissa Nursey-Bray Environment Institute - University of Adelaide
